
RECONDITIONING
EJR Performance offers a reconditioning service that goes beyond standard rebuilds. Instead of simply cleaning and reusing original components, each engine is upgraded with modern internal parts to improve reliability, durability, and long-term performance.
With many of these engines originally built decades ago, these upgrades are essential. All reconditioned engines receive roller camshaft and roller rocker conversions, along with modifications to improve strength and longevity.

1. CORE RECONDITIONING PROCESS
Engine Reconditioning Includes:

Complete engine strip down (customer-prepared engines receive a $200 discount)

Chemical cleaning and crack inspection of engine block

Block machining to next available oversize (max 4.030")

New cam bearings and freeze plugs installed

Crankshaft inspection, grind and linish

Conrods cleaned, inspected, resized with ARP bolts

New flat top pistons fitted
